How it works

  1. Bring your list. Upload our Excel template or your own spreadsheet, paste from Google Sheets, use your Gigglz address book, or add people one by one. We check every address before you pay.
  2. Pick your cards. Choose up to 12 from the whole range, from politely funny to properly rude, or make your own from a photo. Then give each person the right one.
  3. Write it once. Type your message and sign-off one time. We put each person's name in, and you can change any single card if someone deserves a personal line.
  4. Choose when. We post them straight away, or hold them and post for the date you pick. Want a few to hand out yourself? Those come to you in one parcel, each with its own envelope.

Put your own photo on the front

Use a family photo, the kids in their nativity costumes or the dog in a Santa hat. Your design goes into your card tray like any other card, so you can send it to everyone on your list or just a few people.

  1. Start your design. On the "Pick your cards" step, click "Create your own custom card".
  2. Make it yours. Upload your photo, move it into place, choose portrait or landscape, add your own words to the front and pick a border.
  3. Save it. You come straight back to your list, with your design in your card tray.
  4. Send it to anyone on the list. Give it to as many people as you like. The inside message comes from your list, with each person's name added.

Your own designs are £3.49 each and aren't part of the 4 for £12 offer. You can make more than one design, up to 12 cards in your tray in total. See how custom cards look.

What it costs

The same prices as buying cards one at a time, with our 4 for £12 offer applied across the whole list.

Cards

£3.49 each

Or any 4 standard cards for £12 (£3 each), applied across your whole list. Your own photo designs are £3.49 and aren't part of the offer.

Postage: posted direct

from £1.45 per card

Each card goes straight to the person in its own envelope. Budget (2 to 3 days) £1.45, Standard (1 to 2 days) £1.95.

Postage: sent to you

from £1.85 per parcel

Cards you'll hand out come to you together in one parcel, each with its own envelope. £1.85 for the first card, then 25p for each extra card.

Express and next-day posting are available too. You see the exact total, including postage, before you pay.

Example: 20 cards to 20 different addresses by Standard post is £60 for the cards (five lots of 4 for £12) and £39 postage, so £99 all in. That's £4.95 a card, printed, addressed, stamped and posted.

Step by step

  1. Your list

Bring in your names and addresses. There are four ways:

    • Upload a spreadsheet. Our template (Excel or CSV) is on the first screen: type over the example row with your own people, save it and upload it.
    • Upload your own spreadsheet as it is. We match your columns to ours, and you can change the matching if anything lands in the wrong place.
    • Paste rows straight from Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
    • Pick from your Gigglz address book (when signed in), or add people one by one with the address finder.
  2. Check the addresses

We check every row before you pay. Green rows are ready, amber ones are worth a look (a possible duplicate, say) and red ones can't be posted until they're fixed. Fix, remove, or switch someone to "send to me" if you'll see them in person.

  3. Pick your cards

Choose up to 12 cards from the range. Search or browse by card type, or click "Create your own custom card" to make one from a photo and add it to your tray.

  4. Give each person a card

Everyone starts with your first card. Click a card in any row to change it, or tick several people and give them one in one go. Each row also says whether the card is posted straight to them or comes to you.

  5. Write your message once

Write the opening, message and sign-off one time. We add each person's name where you put {name}.

    • Personal notes from your list slot in on that person's card only, and you can change any single card.
    • Previews show the longest names first, so nothing gets cut off. Pick a font and size, or use "Suggest a message".
    • Cards coming to you are left blank so you can write them by hand, unless you tick the box to print them too.
  6. Delivery, then review and pay

Choose "as soon as possible" or the date you want them to arrive, pick a speed, and add your address if any cards are coming to you. Check everything on the review screen, add the whole list to your basket in one go and pay as normal. We print, address and post every card.

Questions

What do I need to have ready?

Names and postal addresses. If you're starting from scratch, download our Excel or CSV template on the first screen and type over the example row. If you already keep a spreadsheet, upload it as it is.

My spreadsheet has different column headings. Will it work?

Yes. We match your columns to ours automatically. If anything lands in the wrong place, click "Change column matching" and pick the right column for each one.

Can different people get different cards?

Yes. Pick up to 12 cards, then give each person whichever one suits them. Most people use one card for most of the list and a couple of others for the special cases.

Can I add a personal note for some people?

Yes. Add a "Personal note" column to your list, or change any single card on the message step. Everyone else gets your shared message with their own name in it.

Can I use my own photo?

Yes. On the "Pick your cards" step, click "Create your own custom card", design the front from your photo and it goes into your tray. You can send it to everyone or just a few people. The inside message is written on your list, with each person's name added.

Can I send some cards to myself instead?

Yes. Any card can come to you instead, all together in one parcel with an envelope for each. Handy for people you'll see, or ones you'd rather write by hand.

When will they arrive?

Choose "as soon as possible" or pick an arrival date, and we print and post the whole list together. For Christmas, order by the last order date shown on the list page.

Can I do it on my phone?

Not yet. Sorting a whole list needs a bigger screen, so it works on a laptop or desktop computer. On a phone we'll offer to email you the link so you can pick it up later.

What happens to my addresses?

We use them to print and post your order. If you're signed in and tick the box, we also save them to your Gigglz address book for next time. Otherwise they aren't saved.

Is there a limit?

Up to 100 people per list. For more, split them into two lists.

Sending to clients or colleagues?

Use our business Christmas cards: office-safe cards, a company line on the envelope and a "signed by" name for each card.
